What I wore to the studio - We’ve all been kinda busy these last couple of months, so our studio blog has been dying of neglect. Here are some out my outfits this past winter anyways. I’m wearing the same pair of pants in almost all these drawings.

Anonymous asked: Ahh I was going to ask about buying a copy of the books but I can see that's already been answered!! They're absolutely gorgeous! Well done! One question how did you get then on the book? Did you rebind them?

Thank you! They’re digital mock-ups, actually. :)

too-much-owl asked: I realize that you digitally painted them of course, but would you consider doing a print or something?

Hello! I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to sell them, even as prints, because I don’t own the rights to the Harry Potter franchise. I might get sued if I do! It’s just purely fan art. I was actually wondering wether I can ask permission to sell them as prints only. O.O

ilovethewaydanhowels asked: Oh bus gosh those Harry potter covers are amazing can I actually buy them??

Hello! Thank you so much! :D I’m really sorry, but unfortunately, I cannot sell them because I don’t own the rights to Harry Potter (and the movies where I based the objects) and I might get sued if I do. Haha. ;__;

hermioxe asked: I just want to say your book covers for Harry's birthday are incredibly beautiful, and I was wondering if you're going to create more and sell them or if it was just a one time thing, because if possible I'd love to have your edition! Thank you, - H. Xx

Hello!

Thank you so so so much! T.T I’m not sure if I’m going to make more book covers, but I’m definitely going to make more Harry Potter stuff in the future. :) Unfortunately, I won’t be able to sell them because I don’t own the rights to Harry Potter (and the movies where I based the objects) and they might sue me if I do try and sell them. Haha. These are just digital mock-ups. I just wanna know how the artworks are gonna look in an actual book when applied. So there! Thank you again! Salamat! :)

Happy birthday, Harry Potter!

To celebrate Harry Potter’s 34th birthday, I made my own book covers for the whole series. I was inspired by the vintage Penguin Scores collection Jan Tschichold designed. I created patterns using a significant object from each book. I used those in the movies as reference and digitally painted all seven. You can view the whole project here! :)

(It’s already July 31 here in the Philippines. Haha.)
